Question by Renesme: Spilt Perfume Oil- how to remove overpowering smell?
Please help! I spilt strong jasmine perfume oil in my frickin clothes drawer and now everything stinks of it. HOW can I draw out or eliminate the scent?? PLEASE help its making me feel ill.

PS- I tried rubbing bicarb soda into the drawer but it still didn’t work and all my clothes that were in there still stink after a wash too…

Vinegar absorbs odors. Try sitting a bowl of it in the drawer. I am not sure if you can put the vinegar directly on the oil.

Try washing your drawer with Dawn Dish Soap. It should break down the oil so in turn it will get rid of the smell.
hello!!! I think you should soak it to a basin of water with vinegar…for about 5-10 minutes….vinegar sips all the fragrance….after that,wash the clothes with soap and water…but be sure you will use a long-last fragrance so the soap’s fragrance will be lasts at the clothes instead the perfume oil that spilled….
